What we do, think, or feel is not our fault…it’s just our default. It is our evolutionary flight or fight that our brains have relied on since the dawn of man. Though our thinking may not be our fault, it is our responsibility to do something about it and over the last three plus decades we have learned how we have the power to change it. My goal is to make sure everyone on the this planet understands that this is now possible.

Hi! Welcome to Mental Health Best Practices… decreasing the stigma of mental health and sharing best practices to increase the avenues to better outcomes.
Despite my resume as a Super Bowl champ and a college football Hall of Famer, my success did not come easy. In fact I spent my teenage years and much of my football career battling depression and anxiety. But, over the last two decades I’ve helped identify and develop some key mental health best practices designed to help anyone improve their mental health.
My approach is mental health is… it’s JUST HEALTH. This, often misunderstood, subject matter doesn’t have to have the veil of weakness, shame or any other negative vibe. If you have toothache, you go to a dentist, if your back hurts, you go to a chiropractor… why should mental health be any different?
So, let’s huddle up, have some fun and take a more lighthearted approach to your mental wellness and personal journey.
